PRIVATE EXPEDITION LARES

DAY 1 CUSCO – HUARAN – CANCHA CANCHA

We will leave Cusco very early in the morning and we will travel by private bus through the Sacred Valley
After 1 hour with approximately 30 minutes we will arrive at Sayhuapata at 2,800 m.s.n.m.
Where we will begin our walk and appreciate a fertile valley, houses of stone and thatched roof in the community of Cancha Cancha at 3350 m.s.n.m. here we will set up our camp for the night.

DAY 2 CANCHA CANCHA – QUISWARANI

On the second day, shortly after starting our morning expedition, we will reach two bright glaciers, Los Lagos, Suirococha and Yuraccocha. Here, we can see an endless number of bird species, including the Andean ibis and the Andean geese.
After 2 hours of walking we will arrive at the first pass called Pachacuti at 4,500 m.s.n.m. Near the top of the pass, we will enjoy a spectacular view of the snowy Pitusiray at 5,750 m.s.n.m. and Chicon located at 5,500 m.s.n.m.
Then we will continue our walk towards the village of Quiswarani, where we will camp for the night.

DAY 3 QUISWARANI – THERMAL WATERS

In the morning after breakfast we will go downhill going through the wonderful vegetation with a variety of flowers and hummingbirds. We will arrive at the colonial village of
Lares and spend the rest of the morning in the thermal baths.
After lunch, we will continue our more gentle walk above a picturesque valley after 2 hours we will arrive at our camp.

DAY 4 THERMAL WATERS LARES – EPSAYCOCHA

On the fourth day, we will continue to make an uphill journey through the valley until we reach the community of Huacawasi. The people here produce a certain amount of the finest fabrics in Peru.
Here, we will observe his great ability and his brilliant techniques of weaving, like ponchos, blankets and other garments. Passing the town we will begin to walk towards the pass of the Condor, the second of the trip to 4,100 m.s.n.m.
Here, we will have a sensational view of the snowy “La Verónica” at 5,750 m.s.n.m. Then, we will make a descent of 1 hour towards the lake of Epsaycocha, where we will have the last camp.

DAY 5 EPSAYCOCHA – OLLANTAYTAMBO

The Last Day of our journey, the road will lead us downhill towards a wide valley.
Descending in the valley, we will arrive to the community of Willoq from where a bus will take us to the town of Ollantaytambo which is considered as one of the most important museums in the world. In this place we can appreciate the archaeological complex of the village and a wide variety of flora and many species of birds.
In the afternoon after visiting Ollantaytambo, we will return to Cusco by private bus.

PRIVATE SALKANTAY 5D-4N

DAY 1 CUSCO – SAYLLAPATA – SOYROCOCHA

6:00 AM we will pick you up from your hotel. We will leave in our private transport to go to Mollepata at 2800 m.s.n.m. spectacular trip through Limatambo and excellent panoramic view of the Apurimac Valley, where we will have a breakfast in a typical restaurant of the population. Then we will continue by bus for 1 hour, until the beginning of our walk towards Sayllapata at 3 200 m.s.n.m. there we will find our arrieros and our personnel of expedition, that will take us towards the communities of Cruzpata, Challacancha, Andean towns near Soraypampa that is at 3750 m.s.n.m. where we will have lunch

DAY 2 SOYROCOCHA – HUAYRAQMACHAY – COLPAPAMPA

The second day after breakfast we will ascend to the highest point of our expedition, the Salkantay pass at 4500 masl from this point we can appreciate the snowy Salkantay, we will also have a spectacular view of the mountains Humantay and Huayanay then we arrive at lunch in Huayraqmachay at 3700 masl then descend for about 3 and a half hours to our second camp, Colpabamba at 2600 m.s.n.m.

DAY 3COLPAPAMPA – PLAYA

The third day we will walk for 4 hrs. Downhill an easy walk, we will start the walk through Ceja de Selva where coffee, coca and fruit plantations can be observed during the trip, taking a bath is very common due to the waterfalls and crystalline rivers, an astonishing panorama, with luck we can observe the famous Bird “Gallito de las Rocas” in Playa at 2250 masl .

DAY 4 PLAYA – HIDROELECTRICA – AGUAS CALIENTES

After a short bus ride, we will arrive at Santa Teresa Bridge, where we will find our porters, we continue with the walk until La Hidroeléctrica, where after lunch we will take the train at 16:00 p.m. arriving after 1 hour to Aguas Calientes we will be able to rest in a comfortable hotel.

DAY 5 MACHUPICCHU / CUSCO

We will take a bus to the citadel of Machupicchu where we will have a guided tour of 3 hours and enough free time to explore if you wish to visit Wayna Picchu, Temple of the Moon, or Puerta del Sol, then we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to board our train back to Cusco where we will be waiting to take you to your hotel.

SALKANTAY 4D-3N

DESCIPTION

Location: The road to Salkantay, which is Quechua term meaning “wild mountain” also known as the “New Inca Trail”, is located north of the city of Cusco. This hike reaches a height of 4,600 meters above sea level at its highest point.
Climate: In this trekk you can see the climates that Peru has, very sunny during the day, but cold at night. Arriving to a jungle eyebrow area. The temperature falls below 0 ° C at night during the months of June to September. In the season from December to March it is very rainy.
Landscapes: Geography changes dramatically from one day to the next. In the first days you walk through mountain landscapes with snowy on each side. Salkantay stands out with a height of 6,264 meters above sea level. Day 1 ° CUSCO / MOLLEPATA / SORAYPAMPA. (D) (A) (C)

Day 2° SORAYPAMPA // CHALLWAY / COLPAPAMPA (D) (A) (C)

After breakfast.
We start the trek of the day, this will be a day full of adventures because it will be the day that we will cross the so-called Pampa del Salkantay, until reaching the highest point the

Salkantay (4600 m.s.n.m) and Umantay i Huayanay imposing snow-capped mountains from where we can appreciate all the majesty of the area.
After lunch we continue the route to Huayrac where we will have indescribable views of the place to continue until the second camp in Andenes or also known as Challway. 3300 m.s.n.m. the hike this day is about 9:00 am. Then we will have our dinner and spend the night.

Day 3 ° CHALLWAY / WINAYPOCO / BEACH / HOT WATER (D) (A) (C)

Day 4 ° MACHUPICCHU. (D)

We will have breakfast very early and then climb to the Sanctuary of Machupicchu, where we will begin our tour for 2:00 hours of guiding and then we will have time to take photos or go around the citadel. The return schedule by train is to the town of Ollantaytambo by 1:30 hrs. Then we will come by tourist bus to the city of Cusco in approximately. 1:30 a.m.

DÍA 1 CUSCO – CACHORA – COCA MASANA – PLAYA ROSALINA

Departure from Cusco at 4:00 a.m. until reaching the town of Cachora at 7:30 a.m. approximately where we will enjoy the breakfast and we will meet with our muleteer who will accommodate our team in mules, and horses. After a 2-hour hike we will reach Capuliyoc at 2915 m.s.n.m. from where we can enjoy a beautiful view of the Apurimac Valley extending below the snow-capped peaks of Padrayoc and Wayna Cachora. Then we will descend towards Coca Masana at 2,330 m.s.n.m. where the climate gets hotter and the flora and fauna begins to change. DÍA 2 PLAYA ROSALINA – CHOQUEQUIRAO

After a hearty breakfast, we will start our 5-hour hike that will take us to Raqaypata along the Chunchullumayo river, where we will enjoy lunch and a well-deserved rest.
Later we will have the chance to see orchids, flowers of the field, and countless species of birds.
From Raqaypata to Choquequirao we will have a 2 hour hike arriving at the archaeological complex of Choquequirao in time to enjoy the sunset and perhaps the opportunity to see a condor flying nearby.
Our camp will be outside the archaeological complex of Choquequirao.

The third day will be dedicated to a reconnaissance of the incredible archaeological complex of Choquequirao. Our guide will explain the history and importance of the site and then we will have free time to visit the various sectors of the archaeological complex.
In the afternoon we will start the return expedition and we will camp in Raqaypata.

After breakfast we will continue our trip back, starting from a steep descent to the Apurimac River where we will stop and have lunch.

The fifth day will be the last of our expedition. Finally we will arrive to Cachora to board the bus back to Cusco.

DIA 01 CUSCO – SANTA MARIA.

Principios de recoger nuestros pasajeros de sus hoteles y nos dirigiremos hacia el Valle Sagrado de los Incas, pasamos  por el pueblo Inca viviente de Ollantaytambo y comience a subir el Abra de Málaga está situado a una altitud de 4620msnm. Nuestro autobús allí, dispuesto a subir una vez al hablar de las guías sobre nuestra seguridad y el alcance de la zona se iniciará el descenso en bicicleta de montaña en el bosque y su introducción en la tarde llegamos a la ciudad de Santa María, que ya estaba en el bosque (1450 m) se tendrá la primera noche de campamento.

DIA 02 SANTA MARIA – SANTA TERESA

El segundo día tendrá un desayuno temprano, las recomendaciones de las guías, y comenzar la caminata, en el curso de la carretera se aprecia una diversidad de flora y fauna y vistas panorámicas impresionantes de la tarde llegaremos al pueblo de Santa Teresa, que será nuestra segunda noche de campamento u hotel, también puede aprovechar para ir al enfriarse el agua caliente que esta ciudad tiene.

DIA 03 DE SANTA TERESA – MACHUPICCHU.

El tercer día nos levantamos muy temprano y comenzó a caminar hacia nuestro Machupicchu, esta vez utilizando la Oroya para cruzar el río Urubamba y caminar a lo largo de la línea de ferrocarril para llegar a Machupicchu con nosotros en esta caminata de 6 a 7 horas. Al llegar a Machu Picchu, la ciudad, relajarse en nuestro hotel. También se puede utilizar para ir a Aguas Calientes.

DIA 04 CUSCO MACHUPICCHU.

Este día muy temprano nos vamos a la ciudad perdida de Machu Picchu, tendremos una visión general guiada de la zona y visitar toda la mañana, por la tarde retorno a Aguas Calientes para tomar nuestro tren de regreso a Cusco llegando aproximadamente a las 8: 00 p.m.

Day 1 CUSCO – PISKACUCHO – WAYLLABAMBA

We transport you from your hotel in our comfortable private bus, after crossing the localities of Chincheros, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo in “Sacred Valley of the Incas” we go to Piskacucho in the Km. 82 of the railroad Cusco – Machupicchu, place of beginning of our walk.
We had lunch in Hatunchaca with a stop of about 1 hour and 30 minutes, then we started the trek to the first camp in Wayllabamba.

Day 2 WAYLLABAMBA – WARMIWAÑUSCA – PAQAYMAYU

DAY 3 PAQAYMAYU – CHAQ’ICOCHA – WIÑAYWAYNA

DAY 4 WIÑAYWAYNA – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO

Start of the trek with direction to Machupicchu.
Arrival to the sector of Inti Punku, from where we will be able to appreciate the majestic citadel of Machupicchu. We enter to the Citadel, where we register the control of our arrival, and we begin the guided tour to the citadel tour that lasts about 2 hours and a half, then we descend by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes. After lunch we will finally depart to the city of Cusco by train.
